My 4 year old and 18 month old absolutely loves this water ride. Don't do what I did and see if maybe it can be used indoors with some towels. Once I filled it with water I realized I had no plan on how to empty it and basically I had to wait for it to evaporate/disappear. splattered by my kids before we could put it away. Thank goodness we have tiles! This is definitely an external toy. A lot is assembled here. Various waterproof sealing stickers are applied to the rail brackets during initial assembly. This is 100% adult work and quite time consuming and tedious. I'd say this step alone took me about 20-30 minutes, so it's worth considering if you have small/impatient kids. There is also a boat lift arrangement. This is the kind of toy I would have assembled in advance. However, once these stickers are in place my 4 year old can help me put the pieces of the track together and take them apart. It was easy to assemble the set as shown in the picture. The set itself holds about 4 gallons of water or more. My 18 month old loved splashing around in it and pushing boats around. My 4 year old was absolutely obsessed with the crank that creates the water flow (lovely to see boats being pulled by the current). Disassembly is as easy as installation. The track pieces fit together nicely, but there are a lot of bulky pieces in this set, making storage between uses a bit of a hassle.
