I used this fan daily for 10 months until it broke. It was on my desk under my monitor connected to my laptop. After three months, the fan blades were moving off-center, causing significantly less air movement. The hinge broke after five months. I had to fold a piece of cardboard and clamp it between the fan and its stand so the fan doesn't face up 100% of the time. After eight months, the "high" setting stopped working. Only worked on "medium" and "low". Ten months later the fan stopped working. Not recommended.
