Before buying meat grinders, I thoroughly inspected meat grinders and found a number of fakes that worked on the principle of a simple design, but resorted to either cheaper products or "improvements" whose usefulness was questionable. After using them I mentally kick myself for wasting so much time and effort it's the hard way. You tear the roast up with simple efficiency, I stab, twist, pull, and the meat just comes loose. Then a scissoring motion with both paws will help break the large chunks into smaller ones, and how small the pieces are is up to you, but the motion itself is simple and effective. I even use them now to take the roast from whatever cooking utensil I use straight onto the board for a quick grind.
