Review on 📷 Sigma 18-300mm F3.5-6.3: The Ultimate Contemporary Advanced Lens by Carrie Thal

First of all the lens is great, possibly the best travel lens you can buy. I also have an older Sigma 18-250mm lens that emits a slight buzz that can be heard if you hold it to your ear in a quiet room. I bought this as an upgrade and it is absolutely silent. The image quality is excellent and the telephoto range is sufficient for nature shots, including birds in flight. It's also light enough to be my everyday lens. I also have a Sigma 100-400mm lens, it's a lot bigger and heavier just for a bit more range so you only get used to it on dedicated birding trips. I liked this lens so much that I bought another one for my daughter. . As for the package as a whole, this combo is better than some of the other sets I see on this site. The backpack is actually usable if you don't have a lot of other accessories. The monopod serves as a walking stick on my birding trips. (But I've bought so many lens kits that I now have 4 monopods, enough sticks to take the whole family on a hike. Haha)
