The plastic back cannot be removed. Followed the instructions in one review to dampen the right side of the paper and lift the corner, but it didn't work. After repeated rubbing with my thumb, the sticker came off the backing, but when I tried the same method with a second sticker, it didn't come off and instead ripped. What should be nice and enjoyable has just caused stress and frustration that I don't want to repeat for all 60 stickers. Also, there are no instructions on the packaging on how to remove the back cover. I will be returning these stickers and switching to the Violette brand, always beautiful and easy to use.
