It took a lot of effort to get a micro sim from Verizon to connect to this card which uses a nano sim. (Most of the time was spent removing the micro-SIM card after accidentally inserting it without the adapter tray.) But after that, Linux simply recognized the modem as a network device, and it connected just fine. (You may have to google the correct APN, but in the best results, the answer was in bold.) The only issue I had was that it's about a fifth the performance of an iPad with the same SIM card. So I got 10 Mbit/s instead of 50 Mbit/s. It used to be very fast, but now it's noticeably slow. It's hard to remember the last time snippets of a web page faded out over the course of a few seconds...until I saw it again with this modem. Definitely works very basic but the performance is very, very low compared to what is common in 2021.
