Review on Erickson 59085 Chrome 2000 lbs Load Capacity Rope and Hooks Combo for Pickup Truck Anchoring by Kyle Gresham

To clarify I bought 2 of these hooks and received two hooks in total. It is only 1 piece in the package. I also agree with another reviewer's comment that the actual hook is a lot rounder than the picture, which is a good thing. I like using them as hooks with ropes are much easier to use than a fixed ring. I used to use S-hooks, which I had to pick up and get off the truck to keep them from dangling. It will be much more convenient. In addition, it is more reliable and stable compared to the spring-loaded wing nut system that other bed hooks use. The downside is that it's a bit more difficult to install than the other style. I had to remove the bottom panel completely, wedge it into the hole in the bedpost with a screwdriver, and carefully screw the rod into place. It wasn't too difficult, but it wasn't exactly easy either. After I completed the installation, it became apparent that they were reliable. For reference, I installed them on my 1994 Chevrolet K1500 pickup. I can't comment on the durability of the chrome bars, although the rings I replaced showed signs of rust in a number of places. I expect them to be the same.
