If you have the b&m shifter for which it was designed, save yourself some trouble and order it. I tried making my own to save some money but it didn't quite work out. After that, when I browsed the internet, I found many people who tried the same thing as me and ended up buying it. The length of the shift lever differs from the length of the standard levers. The angle at which the hand comes out is also different. thus it coincides with the shift stop positions for all gears. It's way overpriced for what they give you, which is why so many people try to make their own, but I'd say it's worth it because you save money. the time and headache of developing your own.
