The affordable XBox 360 Live Vision camera is natively recognized by current versions of Mac OSX without the need to install drivers: just plug it in and you're ready to start videoconferencing with iChat. Skype etc. e. Manual focus (unlike the iSight which has Power Focus and can be set to auto focus). The image quality is excellent, very sharp and the low light sensitivity is sufficient. A green ring of light around the base of the lens alerts you that the camera is on. The perfect, affordable way to add video conferencing power to your old Mac, Mac mini, or MacPro. Also included: Mono headset with microphone for XBox. Unfortunately, the connector is so uncommon that it only works on the XBox, but it's an extra toy for the same price. All in all, a great value for Mac users!
