I have a list of problems with this access point. I bought this device for home use as a cheaper alternative to Cisco and also used my home as Cisco corporate hardware. It didn't take me long to realize that this device was nowhere near fit for business use. When I first set up my hotspot, it had a problem connecting to cloud management. It could not use DNS server 4.2.2.2 or my local ISP's DNS 75.75.75.75. I had to use Google DNS 8.8.8.8. No, this wasn't a problem with my LAN as every other device on my network uses 75.75.75.75 with no problems. The next issue I faced was communication between the AP and cloud management. I made changes to the Nebula interface and the changes didn't always reach my hotspot. I also bought a ZyXel switch and had the same issue with the switch connected to the Nebula cloud interface. This problem continued to occur even when I had an access point to switch and switch to a redundant wired connection. Nebula could see that my devices were online. So it wasn't a firewall issue as there was no firewall in place at the time of testing, including disabling the modem's built-in firewall. My hotspot restarted randomly and as soon as it came back it was factory reset so I removed it from Nebula and this problem stopped. After uninstalling Nebula, my random reboots and random factory resets seem to have stopped. Now when I make changes, the changes are applied immediately as they should be. That brings me to my next problem. If even simple changes are made to the access point, such as B. renaming an object, the access point disconnects all SSID connections. So each device loses connection for about 30 seconds to a minute with each change. The next big problem. The access point is supposed to be able to handle 8 SSIDs, but every time I add a 5th SSID, the device stops responding and I have to manually factory reset it. I can easily add up to 4 SSIDs. I will switch to another manufacturer and never use this device again.
