Doesn’t play well with moisturizers

I’m still on the fence about this one. I have tried a lot of different skincare products, mainly because I use Tretinoin and I’m always looking for ways to keep my face hydrated. I do love how silky and hydrating it feels instantly after being applied to the face, however, with a HA serum, I’ve always been advised to apply to damp skin and followed up immediately with some type of moisturizer to lock in the hydration. I found that this serum started pilling badly after I went in with my moisturizer and made my face feel so sticky. After about 30 minutes, the stickiness finally went away. For that reason, I don’t think this would work well under sunscreen and makeup. I tried this with several types of moisturizers ranging from oil serums, lotions and heavy creams. Each had the same result. In spite of that, I did notice my face was softer after the stickiness finally went away, but I didn’t notice any immediate plumping of the skin for me.I don’t think it’s a bad product, but for the price, I expected a little better.I will continue trying this product as the colder months are approaching here and update if anything changes.
