God this fan sucks. Difficult to get together from the start. One of the screws that had to be unscrewed during installation could not be unscrewed as it had snapped off, adding about half an hour to the already lengthy process. I was almost in tears when I "finished" this subject. When it's on, at the lowest level, you can hear it all over my 3,500 square foot house - it sounds like a goddamn jet. It's so loud I can't sleep with it on, which is totally against the purpose. I HATE THIS FAN. I never write reviews but I really want to spare a poor person the misery of this whole fan. DO NOT buy, not worth it. So disappointed.
