It holds my 75kg tool bag while I ride hard
This little net is pretty sturdy. It doesn't keep it entirely steady in tight corners. My bag will move a bit, but it's a whopping 75 pounds. I've never used the OEM chain, but I have a hard time believing it does anything different than this one, and the OEM chain is almost double the price. Took 30 seconds to install and seems to be holding up pretty well. I'm not a big fan of plastic clips, but I think the mesh will break faster than a plastic latch over time if nothing is crushed or hit. The OEM also uses FWIW plastic.
