This card definitely runs at UHS-II speed. I haven't done any scientific testing, but it can transmit the fastest UHS-I speeds of 90Mbps and works much faster with my Sony TOUGH (UHS-II) card. The biggest problem I had was that it scratched my Sandisk cards as shown in the photo. It's also starting to scratch my TOUGH card, but not as much as my other cards. I've used these cards for years, inserting and removing chambers and slots, but when I first inserted them into this reader, it scratched the front of the label. It works great, but if you appreciate the aesthetics of pristine cards, go for something higher. I think this kind of damage justifies the 2 stars, otherwise it's a great value for those who don't need top performance.
