I bought these platforms for my toy rats (they are small and light!) to use in their cage. Within a week, half of the screws broke loose from the wood, rendering it unusable. Pretty disappointed. Other wooden dowels I've bought in the past have lasted my rats for years. Another issue was that the washers were very small and didn't provide the necessary support when attached to the bars. Only 2 of the original 7 perches have survived.
