Great value straws. We have stopped using plastic straws due to concerns about microplastics as well as the larger plastic particles caused by our kids chewing on the ends. These paper straws are exactly what we were looking for! These straws have several advantages and disadvantages: Advantages: 1. They are durable and will not soften even after being in the liquid for an hour and will continue to keep their shape in the liquid.2. The colors are bright! Kids love them and ask for specific colors!3. When kids chew the ends of the straws, they don't hold their shape (as expected), but the paper doesn't fall apart and go in their mouths! That's the key. Cons: 1. Some of the straws were bent when they arrived which basically ruined the straw as the bending created a small perforation on the side of the straw. We really like these straws and find that they are significantly better than plastic straws in terms of functionality and quality. looks!
