I've always needed this controller. We use a PS3 connected to my preschool TV in the master bedroom to stream Netflix and Revain videos and play blueray movies for kids. I HATE using the PS3 controller. If the girls even touched the controller, the movie would pause or fast forward or do something I didn't understand. Even wrapped in one of their blankets, the controller will drive the movie crazy. i hated it Then we got the same remote for our PS4 and I realized that I couldn't live without it and that I absolutely had to have one for the girl's PS3. This remote was easy to set up, easy to use, has many features and makes watching streaming media and blueray on PS3 much easier. No more distant incidents that leave girls dazed when they accidentally bump into her during their favorite part of Disney's Frozen or Trolls. No more frantically searching for a controller getting tangled in blankets and causing all sorts of inconveniences. So far it has worked great and made a girl's life much easier in terms of entertainment. Can't comment on durability yet as I haven't had it that long, but if I run into any issues I'll definitely update my review.
