This monitor does a great job. The screen is large and well made. The same goes for the camera itself, and everything looks aesthetically pleasing. Nothing looks or feels cheap. Really the only criticism is the resolution. There are security cameras with higher resolution and frame rate at this price point and people use them as baby monitors complete with security features. Night vision is also normal. The new devices have full color and very clear night modes, similar to what you can do with your new phones. I was hoping we'd get at least 1080p and a color night mode at this price point. Among other things, the range around the house is decent. There are places where I lose resolution and signal. So if it stays in one place, it works wonders. I had no trouble setting up and maintaining the connection and video, which is very helpful. The last thing you want is an unreliable setup and an unreliable connection and experience. So far I've been very happy with it. How I would have liked to have looked at other Motorola models offered at this price before making a decision.
