This currently works with some mods.
These hooks aren't as big as I thought they would be. This assumes you can slide the top curved piece under the vinyl/steel siding and hook the curved piece underneath. However, there isn't enough flex/hook at the top to securely hook and I had to bend that part to create more flex and create a more stable situation. Otherwise, with just a few ounces of force (my security camera), it would just pull itself out.
