The goods were well packed in a cardboard box with bubble wrap. When I unpacked the rangefinder, I found that it was easy to use without even looking at the instructions. I've tried all the modes on the training ground and found that it does what it's supposed to. I even pointed it at the US flag which was at the other end of the range.
