I installed this unit 4 months ago and it does NOTHING! Fuel consumption hasn't changed one iota, nor has engine response. I was curious how this might work, so I did some research. The device is connected between the pins of the intake air temperature sensor and at best can trick the computer into thinking that the air temperature is slightly colder or warmer than it actually is. I'm pretty sure this would force the computer to adjust the fuel/air ratio to a certain amount and I suspect it would be leaner since they advertise fuel improvement. So what's in the box. Well it's an IC (Integrated Circuit) not an active circuit that can do some calculations and adjust the output of the sensor. No! This is a resistance. In fact, these are 8 resistors connected in parallel. The Bourns chip consists of 8 resistors of 39 kΞ©, as said, connected in parallel, giving a value of 4875 ohms. Since power dissipation is not an issue, this could push the price down from $0.34 to $0.02. But Innovative had plenty of room to go bust. I paid β¬69.95. It's not like the hull isn't worth anything. Performance chip / performance programmer. My **. Just a divorce.
