Real leather in my opinion
I like the ratchet strap as it looks better from the front and is comfortable to use. This belt needs to be tailored to your waist. Please measure before cutting to avoid overcutting. I'm 30 and the pass mark on it is 36 so I have to do an approximation to cut it out. But it works great and the material is real leather which makes it last longer.
