Today I received a set of green brushes for cleaning the tub, bath mat and shower bench that my elderly father uses. The brush with the green handle continued to break under moderate pressure. By collapsing, I mean the brush slides sideways when I apply pressure while holding the handle. I find the bristles are softer and too curved and the handle is too rounded and not ergonomic to prevent side slips. I was cleaning the bottom and edges of the tub when the brush slipped off. When cleaning, I had to hold the brush against my body to keep it from slipping. The brush could clean the uneven surface of the linoleum. For my purpose, the bristles could be a bit stiffer. He scrubbed the textured surface of the shower bench thoroughly. I used a Lysol hydrogen peroxide cleaner with a cleaning brush. I used a brush to fill tiny holes in the shower stall. A bottle brush would have been better, but I didn't have one.
