does not remove static electricity and is not suitable for thick hair

looks very cheap. it seems to become more static. does not comb the knots well. I have thick wavy hair that gets tangled easily in the bottom layer and the bristles are very thin so I have to comb through small sections to feel like I'm really doing something. I had high hopes but was very disappointed. although it is very gentle on the scalp and my dog loves it when I use it, at least on her.
