Fits exactly as it should. Very easy to get on the box and set up. The material is easy to clean if necessary. However, it doesn't block any light at all - our dog can't see exactly who or what's going on when the cage lid is down, but it doesn't filter the light, so when the sun comes up it's up! I also think if you have a dog that is Houdini and chews if they try to paw/chew it through the crate they could tear it up where they can reach it. Our dog is happy in his cage so it's not our concern - he just wakes up with the sun. It helps him feel comfortable in his cage and he seems to love that aspect so we just added a thick dark blanket folded to fit snugly over his cage and now he's finally sleeping in one past sunrise!
