Update: I contacted the manufacturer and they immediately sent replacements. Excellent customer service. Above all. I have no idea why Tesla doesn't put lights on the Model 3 SR+. This is actually a nice addition to my 2021 model 3, but be prepared to work up a sweat (out of nervousness?). The sides of the 2021 console are very simple and you just plug them in without any tools. Contrary to another review, the seller now includes a small yellow spatula, which is extremely useful. However, there are difficulties in the corners. You almost have to remove the sides of the fairing to get in, it's so tight. I pulled on the sides and they detached from the console but felt like it was about to break (it's not, it's just metal clips. But use both hands!). It took me a good hour to finally get it in position when I said everything was fine. There are a few things I don't like and that's why it's 4 stars. - There is no sensor that could be turned off when it is light outside. It only turns off when the car has been standing for a while. - There seem to be bubbles on the front (compare the middle picture to the last one) - The adapter is very large in the console compartment and the organizer I have there (Tesla OEM from their store) gets stuck in the adapter so I had to cut it to fit.
