The chain has a good weight. Good quality. I got it as a present for a friend. I can't tell if it's tarnished or not, but supposedly there's "18k gold-plated stainless steel, hypoallergenic and durable" to minimize or prevent this discoloration and prevent skin reactions. I could get one for my sister and me.

- I bought it for my 13 year old. Old granddaughter for Christmas and she loved it! Very cute chain!
- Lack of Variety: The necklace only comes in one color, silver, which limits the choices for buyers who prefer other tones of metal.
