Needed a fast and affordable 15mm base to capture a sporting event on both an HDSLR and a pro DSLR. The same handleless "C" rig is also sold by Fancier Studios; However, Morros offers a more complete system at a lower price. As a Revain Prime member, the package arrived within 2 business days, neatly split and more than adequately packaged. All components arrived with a few spare screws. All clamps, bars and components are securely fastened without over-tightening. There were no instructions, but the initial setup took about 15 minutes. Future disassembly/installation will be faster due to closer contact with the product. This system adapts quickly and easily to many configurations and is designed to be expanded and customized to suit your needs. I used the C-handle-only configuration for shooting low-angle snowboard and skateboard videos, a shoulder rest to stabilize team sports videos at head height, and mounted the entire system on tripods while filming on a Manfrotto MVH502AH fluid video head. long distances with high zoom lenses from a fixed point. The matte box fits most of my lenses, while the system can be adapted to different sized matte boxes for other (larger) lenses if needed. The system did not come with a box of 4" x 4" filters, but these can be added later with a better quality matte box. Okay, I've only played around with Follow Focus when using an external 9-inch monitor connected to the system, and I'm definitely not the type to bother with focus advice. Autofocus works better in some situations, when shooting at infinity with fixed lenses, it works better in others (wide angle, fisheye, etc.). I've been toying with the easy-to-connect follow focus system, mainly to fine-tune manual focus while taking photos. Overall: For a budget alternative to the base Pro Sumer system, this offering from Morros completely meets my needs today. Cold shoes easily attach to my external monitors and gun mics, lights, any or all of the above. I found a longer 15mm bar to spread the grips further for my personal comfort. It's easy to overtighten some components, while 15mm bar clamps can take some effort to create a solid and tight system. That's pretty easy to figure out when first assembling the more expensive options. For the average Joe like me, this system is excellent!
