I bought this product to treat keratosis follicularis (fairly severe). In addition to a special body wash and KP lotion, I bought this brush to exfoliate problem areas. While I think the body wash and lotion help, I REALLY think this scrub does most of the work. In the past I've used body scrubs, loofah, and even a pumice stone to exfoliate with moderate results. I've been using the Coolife brush continuously for 3 weeks and have noticed a definite difference in my skin texture. While it doesn't do much for the appearance of my skin (blotchy redness, etc.), it has left it silky smooth like I've never experienced in my condition. The brush itself easily fits in the palm of your hand, and the handle makes it difficult to drop during use. The bristles are VERY hard silicone/plastic. This means that it definitely does a good exfoliating job. However, it is also a rather uncomfortable and by no means gentle treatment for CP. Those with hypersensitive skin or low pain tolerance should really stay away. Otherwise the product is exactly as advertised and I am very happy with the result!
