My 2011 Macbook Air "died" and I bought it to access it and see if the SSD works so I can get my files. Luckily my SSD was fine and the OWC Envoy ran like clockwork. It looks sleek, reminiscent a bit of the Mac Air's looks, but the quality of the materials feels cheap. However, in my research I didn't find too many alternatives for using a Mac Air 2011 SSD as an external drive and the ones I found on Ebay weren't much cheaper and much uglier (shipped from China). I recommend this product due to limited features and it does the job but is quite expensive.
