And now a story: There once was a house with a happy, 12 year old, large boxer named Meg, who loved caring for her family. Her family saw that Meg ate her food too quickly and had an upset stomach. They ordered a bowl with a fun, maze pattern that helped Meg slow down and enjoy her food. Everyone was happy.2 years later, Hunter came to live with Meg and her family. Hunter was a small 4 year old terrier who had a rough background and was very nervous around his new family. Hunter felt like he needed to guard his food, and steal any other food he could find. Meg was now 14 years old and did not appreciate this tiny creature invading her house, especially when he would gulp down his food and lurk next to her bowl for any kibble that might escape her maze. To make it worse, Hunter was alternately terrified of Meg's size and bored by the quite household.In the search for solutions, the Family bought Hunter a puzzle bowl as well. It worked wonderfully! the grooves were deep enough that Hunter's tiny snout couldn't avoid the puzzle, and the bowl was heavy enough that he couldn't knock it over to 'cheat' the game. Suddenly both dog's were taking the same amount of time to eat, and satisfied with the brain work-out meals provided.The moral of the story is, these bowls are awesome!
