I'll send it back immediately. I'm very disappointed because I spent so much time reading reviews and was pretty confident in making this purchase, but it was a big mistake. The first minor inconvenience was that the cord is quite short and I had to plug in an extension cord to use it and see the mirror in my room, but I could deal with that. I have wavy or curly hair and I have found that the straightener gets stuck in my hair and I have difficulty reaching certain areas. Eventually I noticed my hair getting caught in the plates and being pulled out. My last straightener was cheap, non-brand, but I didn't notice any difference in results when comparing fluffiness or time taken to straighten. I didn't really notice the sparkle. Even if there was a noticeable difference, pulling my hair out would probably break the deal.
