This mounting system worked exactly as designed to mount my high lift jack horizontally on my truck's toolbox. The two bolts that go through the post from the jack have padlock holes, but I replaced them with longer stainless steel bolts that run from the outside plate and jack into the inside of my toolbox where I used a thin but strong steel plate which was drilled to match the post holes and center bolt hole. I put lock washers and large wing nuts in the anti-theft tool box, but they were easily removed for use. The trunk feels solid and well made and my high rise looks great on my truck.
