Great for unruly hair!

LOVE! It's WAY better than any other gadget I've tried. If you've used any type of donut, you'll find that it's even easier to use. If not, don't worry. The learning curve is steep. It took a few tries for the donuts to style my hair properly, and after a few hours, my bun was dangling and falling off. One of these gadgets makes my hair stand on end the first time I try it. Plus, it STAYS on your feet all day, keeping them secure without pinching, stretching, or damaging. bliss. My hair is long and "hanging", ie aggressively straight. Generally this is a thick tuft, but each individual hair is very thin. It's strange but it's true. "You're a chinchilla," says my partner. This means my hair is incredibly straight and difficult to style and manipulate. It won't keep twisting and conventional devices always slip out within minutes. Also slightly damaged. He does not tolerate abuse. I used to rely on a foam covered baker. They were the first ones I have ever found that have held my hair in place for over 15 minutes. At first I was satisfied, but then they turned out to be disposable. After a few uses, they tore, or the metal in the foam became so twisted and twisted that it was unusable. What initially seemed cheap and convenient turned out to be expensive and a nuisance, like tights because I had to refill them every week. And I felt guilty about throwing plastic wrap, styrofoam, and twisted metal in the trash every few days. This works great for me and if they work for me they should work for everyone.
