I haven't tried the other one because honestly the same problem: that silver colored trim where the two parts of the brush don't connect flush. Because of this, my hair keeps clipping and pulling out! I had a goody and I wish I was lazy and just cleaned the damn thing. Everything was solid and fantastic but I couldn't find the box in any of the stores or even here. I don't know how it gets such good reviews with this fatal (in my opinion) flaw. I tried wrapping it with tape but unsurprisingly it didn't work. I guess I'll have to throw away a few bucks and get a better one.
