I have both the medium and this light version (for my wife). First, my wife loves it. We're coming off our starting hands so probably everything is an upgrade. However, these racquets give you a good "feel" for the ball. I don't know how to describe it, but the ball comes off the racquet in a predictable way. It is slightly faster on the net compared to the average weight. And while the medium weight is a little more attractive, the light weight doesn't let up. After playing with both, both play very close to each other and switching back and forth is very easy. A medium weight gives a slight power advantage, while a light weight gives a slight hand speed advantage. But both play very well.
