I loved the funny review below, and had to try a pair! (I live near mountains and wind up in similar predicaments. LOL) I tested the black ones with white undies and could NOT get the undies to show through, (yay!) they're just right in thickness, super comfy, (more comfy and doesn't hardly slip compared to ALL my other leggings-even the ones from REI) and I really don't want to wear any other pants now! I love them! Also, THE POCKETS!😁😁😁😁 I'm almost as excited as if it were a dress with pockets! My phone is a "fablet" size, Galaxy Note 9, and it slides super easy in and out of the pockets perfectly. It is so handy to have pockets on both sides, plus the ease of movement without clothing restrictions makes me want to do more physical activities. I ordered a size up and will order another pair in my usual size before reviewing the compression. But that is even decent on the size up.
