Does Not Remove Makeup; Use After Oil Cleanse; Suitable for All Skintypes

My nightly routine usually consists of a double cleanse, starting with a balm or oil wash, followed by another cleanser to remove any oily residue. Then I continue with the rest of my skincare regime. For reference, I have mature, combination, acne-prone, congestion-prone, sensitive, product-reactive skin. Using oil cleansers has improved my skin's condition, as it breaks down makeup and SPF efficiently. But when I saw this Buha Get Nude Triple Action Face Cleanser, I was intrigued by the claims. This is supposed to be a "one-step face cleanser [that] does it all, from removing makeup and gently exfoliating skin to brightening complexion and promoting hydration."While I like the formula, texture, and use of this Buha Get Nude Cleanser, it is not the powerhouse all-in-one cleanser it wants to be. I wear very minimalist makeup - bb cream or tinted SPF, a little eyebrow liner, washable black mascara - and this cleanser struggled to remove it. I had to follow up with an eye makeup remover and another cleanser to ensure my face was clean. The formula, smell, and texture: Ingredient highlights on the packaging include vitamins C and E, hyaluronic acid, and AHA. We're also given a sun warning, as vitamin C, AHA, and the use of actives can further sensitize our skin to the effects of UV exposure. Thus you want to wear SPF following active (retinol, other AHA's, BHA's, adapalene, vitamin C, and the like) ingredients. I won't rehash all of the ingredients here. I will include images of the packaging instead. And I will confirm the bulk of the components are skin-friendly and suitable.Note: I did not try this as a "hydrating face mask," where they suggest applying a generous layer to your face for 5-10 minutes. I only used this as per their "detox" and "revive" instructions as a face wash only. I would highly recommend new users or those with sensitive skin to gradually utilize this for 5 minutes before moving along to a 10 minute wear time to see how well their skin tolerates this cleanser as a face mask.I think all skin types can use this cleanser. But, given my experience, I wouldn't rely on this as the sole cleanser you use to remove makeup and SPF. Instead, I would suggest using this in your a.m. routine or couple this with an oil wash at night as part of a double-cleanse.Additional general claims include being alcohol-free, dimethicone-free, paraben-free, ethanolamine-free, phthalate-free, silicone-free, sulfate-free, synthetic fragrance and dye-free.The gel cleanser has a golden hue, and while it is not "fragranced," it does have a very faint but not unpleasant scent. I assume this is natural to the product. It foamed up nicely and was not overly drying or stripping. My face did not feel tight after use.Packaging: 5.07oz hard, frosted (translucent), plastic pump bottle. Simple and functional. Ships in a sturdy, vibrant orange box with gold writing. Claims to be made in the USA (Miami) and responsibly sourced. I think for $18, this is a nice cleanser for the price point.
