Fur. I sent three of them back.

When it comes to utility, this light gets good marks. The shape, brightness and adjustable temperature of the light make it very useful. As for the control system, it is inconvenient to use. You can't just turn this thing on and off. (At least I haven't found a way.) It has a button on the end that adjusts the brightness when long-pressed. Short press to set the mode: bluish light, yellowish light, mixed light, flashing light, power off. So. To turn this display on and off, you have to press the button multiple times to switch between all modes. In addition, the button is a capacitive touch sensor. All you have to do to activate it is accidentally touch it. If you're like me, you'll find yourself turning it on unintentionally when you're handling it. This flashlight is rechargeable. That is a good thing. Charges via USB. That's fine too, except in this case the product uses a proprietary connection, so you'll still need a custom cable. Any old USB cable will not work. Why do companies do this? As more items become rechargeable, I don't want to keep track of a separate cable for each item. Finally, and that's why I ordered three of these and sent them back, the condition they arrived in is not very good. Actually I'm wondering if it's a factory defect since the same product is sold under different brand names. The two black ones I ordered arrived with scuffs and scratches. The more expensive silver was better, although the seal on it was completely damaged. Whenever I see something really cheap that lacks attention to detail *and* includes a rechargeable lithium battery, I always wonder how safe that product really is. To be clear, I haven't seen anything to suggest this is unsafe. But I'm interested. Verdict: Three swipes is more than I usually give to a product that makes a bad first impression, but the concept is good enough that I want to keep trying. But not anymore.
