We have a pet rabbit and it's great for what we need. Alert us when he's on the couch. This alarm clock isn't loud enough to scare even a rabbit, so I was initially a bit disappointed with this product, especially given its price. However, after realizing that the noise wouldn't deter him, I started using them to simply let me know if he was on the couch or where I didn't want him. For that they work great. I can come right over and punish him and it worked. If you buy them to hang somewhere hoping the sound will scare your pet away, chances are you'll be disappointed. When used as a Tattletale alarm they work great and I find them to be a great tool for disciplining our bunny. Now he equates that sound with me trying to lift him off the couch and it worked. I'm glad I bought them now. I'm deducting a star just because the sound needs to be louder if it's going to scare someone, although I don't think even a louder sound will scare away most pets.
