I bought a couple of these for about $10 each. actually only 5. I love that they remove the taste of chlorine from the city's tap water so the tap water tastes very similar to Dasani. I stopped drinking bottled water after reading about all the chemicals that leak into water from cheap plastic, especially when left in hot cars. It's also cheaper than the $10 a month I spent on bottled water. The filters last 3 months and cost about $3 each (sold in packs of 2). The bottle is dishwasher safe. I have several bottles, so every few days I swap out the filter for a clean bottle and toss the dirty one in the dishwasher. The filter is up. The filter holds water. When a bottle is less than half full, it becomes heavy and tends to tip over if you hit it lightly. Since the top is the heaviest, it falls straight onto the top-to-bottom plastic cap, which is prone to cracking and breaking, leaving you with a leaky water bottle. He does it from a ridiculously low height. I also had 1 bottle that fell about 3 feet onto the cement and ripped the seam right down the middle. I wrote "Rubbermaid" after 3 of my bottles died that way. Asked for new caps. They sent me $30 worth of Rubbermaid gift certificates. When I went to redeem these certificates, the seller treated me like I was printing them in my basement. ("We've never seen them before, we have to make sure they're not fake." I was stuck in line for 10 minutes, people behind me were pissed, you get the point.) There's a learning curve with use some people might have trouble. Unless you're very coordinated or smart I wouldn't buy this. This is a squeeze bottle, not a feeding bottle. I watched a friend borrow and use mine and had to refrain LOL as she held it over her head and silently blinked because nothing but drips came out. She then tried to nurse him like a baby. Finally she flinched. You take the bottle, put your mouth in the end, squeeze, swallow. You can also suck if you feel like it, but that will only draw illegitimate stares from nearby onlookers. If you have trouble using your mouth or lips, e.g. B. if you eat soup with a spoon, chances are it will all drip onto your shirt. I love this bottle, the review is meant to be informative, fun and maybe educational. and warning. If it wasn't for the very poor design of the shattering lid I would have given this one 5 stars. It should be noted that when I first bought them a few years ago, they were the only filtered water bottle I could find. . There are now many competitors on the market. I haven't used the others, but these are my favorites in terms of size, shape and color (I prefer green or blue).
