2 YEARS UPDATE: The mat still looks very good, although the coir has recently started to flake a bit (different lengths of the individual coirs - from 1 to 4 Customs - comes out but is still at least 95% intact). The rubber piece cracked slightly in partial sun and our relatively long 100-degree Vegas, but you can't tell for sure unless you get close. Would still give 5 stars as it remains very attractive. At this point I think it will last about two more years before it needs to be replaced. I've only used two months. , but so far no signs of wear or fading. The coconut part is completely intact. Appearance of good quality with no obvious defects (no rough edges where the mat is cut, no uneven coloring, etc.). It's 3/8 inch thick - not too small and not too big. I will update this review in about a year if it doesn't hold up, but so far very pleased.
