the hairpin works, but the curtain is too short for me
End post and damper bolt too short. My well made shutters have a wider gap at the rounded top of the shutter frame. Nice to find this on the web, but you need something where the pin retracts into the pin (with a return spring). They should work well if you're building a rectangular gate to tight tolerances.
