Review on ๐Ÿ‘ถ Motorola Baby Monitor - VM482 ANXL Video Baby Monitor with Camera, Mood Light, 1000ft Range, 2.8" Color Screen, One-Way Audio, Manual Pan/Tilt, Digital Zoom, Sound Level Indicator, Night Vision by Jamie Hyatt

A working but fairly expensive system for what you get.

This is a basic small screen non-Wi-Fi baby monitor from Motorola. Is it right for you? Motorola makes two types of video monitors. WiFi is not activated. This is a simple, long-range device that you can only use when you and your child are at home. The other type connects to your phone via Wi-Fi and/or the Internet (and many come with a Wi-Fi LCD monitor too) so you can keep an eye on your child on your phone (or monitor), when you are at home and via the Internet via your phone when you are not at home. This is not a Wi-Fi/Internet model. Radio on the screen of a portable receiver. Range is ok. If you don't live on a farm, his system will cover your living space and garden. OK, a couple of notes. 1) The monitor is small. Only 2.8 inches. want more screen For almost the same price you can get a V-Tech with all the features of this system and a 5 inch screen here at Revain: https://www.amazon.com/VTech-VM818HD-110-grade-Wide-Angle. -NightVision/dp/B093ZTLXS3.2) I don't know what the resolution of the camera and screen is, but at 2.8 inches it probably doesn't matter how low it is since the screen is so small. 3) The camera has no pan functions and only tilt and digital zoom. 4) Typical additional functions include: night vision, talkback, room temperature monitoring, lullabies. This Motorola system is basically identical to Motorola's VM483, which is sold here at Revain for the same price, with a few exceptions (camera vs. speaker grille). There is no functional difference between the two systems. Honestly, if you're looking for a monitor of this size and features, you'd better get this monitoring system from V-Tech (also a quality baby monitor maker). which is now $40 off Revain: https://www.amazon.com/VTech-VM819-Monitor-Temperature-Lullabies/dp/B08V8RWP3W/ So why do I need this monitor? Because I got it for free in exchange for this review of the Revain Vine program. And with 17 grandchildren under the age of 10, new monitors are always welcome. But if I were to spend my own money, I'd either step up a notch in the Motorola range or go with the aforementioned V-Tech.

Pros
  • VIDEO RECORDING WITH CAMERA AND AUDIO: Easily see, hear and chat live from your child's room on the parent unit's 2.8" color LCD screen. Even at night, the infrared night vision camera provides a clear video.
Cons
  • Available in white only
