I previously bought a Brita which I used for a few months before buying Pur. In comparison, pure is MUCH better. It's easier to install. It simply inserts into the faucet without screwing or unscrewing anything. It also springs up easily so I can remove it easily. I also like that you can easily switch between tap water and diluted water because all you have to do is press the latch instead of twisting like the Brita. Tossing the Brita bar back and forth ended up breaking the whole thing after a few months (which was annoying considering I'd already spent over $40 on the system and filters). I didn't have that problem with Pure. Neat is easier to use, better processed, better quality and the filters last longer. I used to love Brita, but now I will only use Pur products.
