Due to some minor imperfections, I hesitated to give this cute little label printer 5 stars. A well-made device that is worth its low price. I never realized how helpful a label printer could be until I got this little gem. Pros: Labels are crisp and printing is fast. Enough choice of fonts, sizes, icons and fields for most users. Good quality and very low price for what you get. Plastic straps (even third-party ones) appear to be water, soap, and oil resistant. The labels stay in place. Very quiet. The print does not smear - uses a thermal process without ink. Cons: Instructions in multiple languages. Unfortunately they left instructions on how to use the character map in the English version. Full instructions in English can be downloaded online in full PDF format. Frames clip the top of a larger font. Battery operated (4 AA). In fact, this is not a problem for most users. Certain learning curve, especially for doubles and fractions. After a few weeks of using this label making marvel, I think it deserves 5 stars due to the reasonable price and despite its few flaws. Creating labels can get very exciting!
