Review on KiWAV Filter Wrench Removal Flutes by Dante Black

Fits BMW filters, it just depends on the filter manufacturer. My RT is 14 years old. Previously when I put a Mahle filter on I needed a 76mm x 14 filter. I have used HiFlo filters before and it was the same size 76mm x 14 but they must have changed their design because this time was the key for a filter of this size did not work. I had to buy this. I even called the company and they said the OEM filter key should work but it doesn't. The difference is in the number of flutes, 14 versus 12, but you also have to look at the filter. If it has flat sides count them, if there are 14 this key will not work. If it has 12 sides, are they flat or vertical grooves? If they are flat, this one will not work. If it's vertical grooves, this one should work. It matched perfectly with the HiFlo HF 164 I just installed. It seems well made and I expect it to last longer than I do and I would recommend it.
