A few points: 1: The one I received fits perfectly into the socket installed in my RV. Some people noticed it was the wrong install direction but didn't mention if that plug or their input was disabled. 2: The hot end of the 120V connector is connected to both L1 and L2 of the 50A connector. As a result, everything on your RV will "get hot" which means you shouldn't overload the adapter. I'm assuming the adapter's wiring is strong enough (12AWG wire) to handle 20A, but it's hard to say without damaging it.
