My cat hates everything. He loves this little bed. I lost count of the number of beds I bought and he completely ignored it. Now this is his official place. That's a great little bed. I ended up removing the dangling toy, there was no particular need for that. The coating on the bottom tends to stick to surfaces - I had to peel it off the floor once but there was nothing left. type of residue or damage to the product. My cat spends hours in this bed every day - highly recommended.
