Review on Whitmor GRADE Natural Slack Hangers by Amy Young

Revainrating 5 out of 5

High quality. But a bit difficult to use.

High quality. But a bit difficult to use. I have over 10 suits in my closet. Mostly wool/silk or 100% wool. Some poly "blends". Some with cuffs, some without. EVERYONE had the same problem until I figured it out. First, let me tell you that I hang ALL of those "suit" pants up from the bottom. Obviously use these hangers to avoid the stains or double creases that appear when pants are hung on a hanger. The undercut at the top of the waist doesn't hold up any better than at the bottom. The pants slip a little when hanging. And some would fall. How annoying. Obviously a bigger problem than standard hangers. Bye. I didn't find the trick. It works with or without cuffs. Of course, make sure the legs lie flat and have creases around the edges. It's not hard to do at all. Then slide the bottom of the pants to the position with the hanger and close (pin). This is important. If you haven't already done so, you can slightly (gently) push the bottoms up while the hanger is clamped. As far as the upper edge of the wooden slats is just below the hem (or cuff) seams. This slight narrowing is hardly noticeable. But that's enough to keep the pants from sliding down the hanger. And so far there are no visible traces left. You have a great way to store nicely ironed pants. works for me At the moment I have bought 3 sets (5 pieces each) of these hangers. Maybe buy 1 set as a sample. If they suit you, buy more. Some complain about the quality here. All I can say is that some people are idiots. I found them VERY well made. When used properly I don't see any problems with breakage or loosening.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Vulgarity
